Tony Laumberg

EXPERIENCE IN THE LAW MATTERS

Tony has been the principal of A.S. Laumberg, Solicitor since 1993 conducting his legal practice firstly in North Bondi and currently in Rose Bay in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney in 1980 and went on to practice in a number of small and medium suburban and City law firms gaining exposure to most areas of law both civil and criminal.

This culminated in Tony working for a large national law firm, Gadens Lawyers, in the Commercial Litigation section advising and representing major corporate and government clients such as Westpac, David Jones, the Urban Transit Authority and the Civil Aviation Authority.

Tony has had the good fortune to work closely on complex cases with many senior barristers who went on to become past and present Judges on the Supreme Court of New South Wales. This provided valuable insight into the critical thinking required to assess and resolve commercial disputes.

Tony has also been involved in various cases which have become legal precedents in diverse areas of law confirming his instincts that he was “on the right track.”

Since he commenced his law firm Tony’s philosophy has always been to take care of the relationship with the client first followed by getting the law right. He truly enjoys his interactions with all clients and gets great satisfaction from their appreciation for a job well done!
