Litigation Lawyers
With over 30 years’ experience Tony Laumberg can provide you with high quality legal assistance with respect to both civil and criminal litigation matters.
Civil Litigation
Tony Laumberg has experience in the following kinds of civil litigation:
-
- Debt recovery
- Contract disputes
- Commercial disputes
- Property disputes
- Building and construction disputes
- Commercial and retail lease disputes
- Partnership disputes
- Shareholder disputes
- Insurance disputes
- Strata title disputes
If you are involved in a civil or commercial dispute the first aim is to try and resolve it in the most timely and cost effective manner. This can often be achieved by your lawyer sending the other party a letter dealing with the real issues and then negotiating a solution that meets your objectives.
Failing successful negotiations between the parties through correspondence another highly successful approach is for the parties to engage in alternate dispute resolution such as mediation which involves the parties spending many hours with an experienced mediator who attempts to assist the parties to negotiate a settlement.
If all else fails then you may be left with no alternative but to either commence or defend legal proceedings. As litigation is often risky, it is imperative to have a skilled, assertive and practical lawyer who is able to guide you through the process to maximise your chances of a favourable outcome.
Criminal Litigation
Tony Laumberg has experience in the following kinds of criminal litigation:
-
- Traffic offences
- PCA’s
- Apprehended Personal Violence Orders
- Assault charges
- Fraud offences
- Stealing offences
If you are facing criminal charges it is important to have strong, effective legal advice and representation. Whether the Police want to interview you or you have been charged and need to defend yourself or you wish to plead guilty and obtain the best possible outcome, the sooner you get a lawyer involved the better your chances.
